regret is I didn't port the exhaust manifolds when I had the turbos installed. That was about 4 years ago and porting the manifolds wasn't a real well known/proven mod. I've been in similarly set up cars (ie. same turbo set ups as each other), and the ones with well ported manifolds have better spool up response and better mid-range HP. If you are going to pull the motor and put on sport 500s, splurge (or do it yourself) and get the manifolds done...for optimum performance, hand port the manifolds and then have the turbo housings and manifolds extrude honed.
